Employment Application Little Green Men is an environmentally friendly house cleaning company with an emphasis on quality and customer service. We are a small operation made up of 1 crew of 3 people.

We are hiring 2-3 people in order to expand into 2 crews. These 2 crews will have 2-3 people working together to clean up to 4 houses/apartments each day. More crews to be assembled in the near future.

In an employee we are looking for an ethical and dependable person with a strong work ethic who has good problem solving skills. Good candidates must be able to work under close supervision as well as with their own good judgment. Cleaning experience is not necessary, but preferred. Good candidates will be hard-working with willingness to get their hands dirty while engaged in the less glorious aspects of the cleaning business. Leadership potential is a big plus, but good customer service skills are a must.

Work hours are generally fall between 9:30-4:30 Mon-Fri, with an average week of 30 hours. Pay will initially be in the $10-12/hr range, but will be negotiable and based on relative experience. As we are a small and growing business, opportunities for increased responsibility and leadership, as well as raises are on the horizon.

Our service is based in Takoma Park, Maryland, but we serve nearby MD, DC, and a little of VA. We clean condos, apartments and houses for regular bi-weekly and monthly service as well as move-ins, move-outs and on a one-time basis.

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Dusting
  • Wiping
  • Scrubbing
  • Kitchen/Bath rooms
  • Taking out trash
  • Making beds
  • Vacuuming
